dos meses de revision? y todavia te quejas? en mates un articulo se puede pasar en revision tranquilamente uno o dos anyos...

Aprovecho para decir que es una verguenza que las editoriales te paguen para publicar. Es una explotacion infame, los cientificos hacen el trabajo, lo redactan, buscan las figuras, las referencias, en muchos casos incluso lo "typean" siguiendo las normas de la editorial para que este ya todo listo para incluirlo en la revista, los mismos cientificos hacen de revisores, en muchos casos sin cobrar, y luego encima la revista se te queda con todos los derechos de copyright, y con todo el beneficio economico...
Y encima, si quieres ser un cientifico de prestigio, pues no tienes mas remedio que entrar en el juego... que asco de mundo!

Se ve que llevo unos dias malos, ando muy pesimista ultimamente... pasame un trozo de tarta anda, que las penas con chocolate (si es belga mejor) son menos ;)

Lo de los dos meses cabrea porque los editores prometieron una revisión "rápida" y a los revisores (lo sé de primera mano) se les da un par de semanas para enviar sus comentarios. Vamos, que ha tardado tanto por inexperiencia editorial (y hubo que amenazarles con retirar el paper si no se daban brillo ;-)

A los demás, tomad toda la tarta que podáis, que veo que aún queda.

Mi mas sinceras felicitaciones por este logro. Disfruta de estos dias que veras que vas a sonreir mucho y si no te importa, asi de refilon, te daria un consejito. Se generoso con tus colaboradores. El tema de la autoria es bastante complejo y normalmente no demasiado justo, pero hay que echarle buena voluntad. Llamalo buen karma. Aparte que siempre es una buena estrategia de relaciones publicas. Si tienen invertida energia emocional o intelectual (o politica) en el trabajo, mejor que hablen de el para bien, que para mal.

En cuanto al sistema de las revistas cientificas no entro, que me dan nauseas, la verdad.

Animo, si en nature no sale no importa, la contribucion ya esta y eso lojuzgara el tiempo, mediante el numero de veces que seas citado. He visto publicado en Science y en Nature, basuras repugnantes, que jamas mereceran ser recordadas. Y se sabe que muchos articulos en essas revistas pasan sin pena ni gloria.
Aun asi, por las evidentes conveniencias socioeconomicas, yo tambien he enviado articulos a Nature.. H. Gee me decia que queria publicarlo, pero en fin, al final me lo rebotaron. Lo curioso es que solo me mostraron la opinion de 1 de los revisores, la mas negativa ,y luego me entere, que habian sido 3, de la cual puede ver 1 que era mucho mas favorable. Que te puedo decir, es muy raro que no te muestren todas las opiniones. Bueno, tambien me pasa por mandar a brief communications donde no hay derecho a respuesta. Es una verdadera ruleta y como tal, la probabilidad es mas hacia perder, a que te incorporen al club. Tienen el sarten por el mango.
