Así, a partir de estas declaraciones"Se trata del bípedo más antiguo del mundo", dijo Bruce Latimer, especialista del Museo de Historia Natural de Cleveland, Ohio, EE.UU., quien realizó el descubrimiento junto con su colega etíope Yohannes Haile-Selassie. la prensa hace de coro de papagayos y sueltan titulares como los que podéis leer aquí. El bípedo más antiguo del mundo ha sido hallado. Al menos algunos se molestan en decir homínido o humano en el titular. Otros en cambio apuestan aún más fuerte y dicen que es el homínido más antiguo que se haya encontrado.

The assessment is based on an analysis of where the animal's spine would have entered the skull and the position of muscle attachments on its head.
